While I do agree that happiness and prosperity are not 100% dependent on physical resources, I find very hard to believe that a person who is starving to death and working 70 hours a week can actually possibly be "happy" and "prosperous". Sandy claims happiness and prosperity are only in the mind. Here's a challenge for sandy. She must first take a picture of all her possessions and post in this thread. Then, she shall give all her possessions to charity and live off only bread and water, in a modest house (I'm being really nice to her so taht she doesn't need to live in the streets). She must prove herself and live in such a state for an entire year. She must start living in this situation on February 1st, 2008 and end it on January 31st, 2009. She shall dedicate her giving to the Lord and prove that she is her disciple. She must also work at least 50 hours a week in a MacDonald's far away from her house. And she has to document all that (videotapying it as well). She must prove she lived in such conditions for a whole year. If she does this and prove that she is still happy and prosperous within 6 months of this experiment until the end, then I will give her the kudos and believe in her and never make fun of her ever again. Is she fails, we will know she's just a hypocrite and anti-christ. sandy is welcome to make a donation to my own charity. She can PM me for info. Oh. And she doesn't need to give away all her investments. In that sense, she will have no worries for the whole period of time, and that's a BIG break for her compared to a similar real situation.
Oh yeah... and of course she must not possess anything other then an uncomfortable matress, a stove, pots, a plate and a few utensils. Just BASIC.
