Some times in my WinME, i open >10 applications at the same time, suddenly I get prompted "windows resources are low", and it get hanged until I got to press the
Reset button to restart.
Actually I do not know why? I got 256 MB RAM, it should be enough, right?

During the bootup, the system will do scandisk for improper shutdown, it takes long time because my HDD is huge (I got 40GB and 80GB hardisks, the scanning is slow like hell !! ), so i just click cancel. Can this cause problem on my PC ?

No scandisk does not cause that problem (though i would advice to let it run once in a while. The problem is that windows ME memory managment is crap. Also which 10 progs would that be?
