I've been listening to the Kinks: Preservation for the past two days. This album is incredible. The music, the style, everything is just so awesome, so well put together and played and sung. On top of that it contains the most basic liberal message you're likely to ever hear--big business guys are bad. The plot is pretty loose, but it revolves around a ruler, Flash, who is ousted by the liberal hero, Mr. Black. Flash (who sounds like John Lovitz) is turned into an "artificial man" at the end. Pretty cool stuff.

Anyone else heard this?

POWER
POWER
POWER
POWER
POWER
POWER
I HAVE POWER
POWER

(cool lyric, sounds like a man who has just arrived at the fact. "Finally, I am at the top.")

Thanks man, I love it too. If you have Kazaa or Limewire you should look into these guys...

Anyway, the quote is from Oedipus at Colonus, I think. It's a cool play...

Download Daylight. They're classic rock, I guess. If you download that song you'll get a feel for em. They're the same guys that did Lola (lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-la).

I thought Oedipus at Colonus was one of the lost plays?

No, apparantely not. Jeez, 8 months of classics, you think I would have learned something, but nope...
