View Full Version : Pre-Super Tuesday Vote!
NightFall 02-01-08, 10:49 PM i can't believe this isn't up already! So lets pretend its the Real Deal and all candidates currently running are in the election. No strategy just support - who would you vote for?
If you would like to comment below, please give you reasons for support, and no "because i agree with their views" is not sufficient.
NightFall 02-03-08, 11:04 AM awfully quiet :(
Exhumed 02-03-08, 11:06 AM Obama! (http://www.dipdive.com/)
superstring01 02-03-08, 11:11 AM Mod Note: Poll questions edited to include two options that should have existed.
superstring01 02-03-08, 11:13 AM Voting for no one. They all pretty much suck.

NightFall 02-03-08, 11:18 AM Sorry super, I had opted out of the two, since the question was as we stand for those are currently in the election - especially since we can't factor in VPs, and becuase i wanted to deter the wide range of other nationalities here from selecting "not voting". thanks for correcting. :)
awfully quiet :(
you got me on ignore? :bugeye:
Voting for Romney because he's the only man I can envision as
POTUS. I agree with him on getting criminal aliens out of my country, lowering taxes, fighting the war on terror until we destroy all terrorists, etc. I studied each candidate in depth and Romney is the only one I have peace about. With McCain pandering to/winning the Hispanics-- and Romney refusing to, we may have a problem.
NightFall 02-03-08, 07:53 PM Sandy, how do you feel about Romney's healthcare stance?

NightFall 02-03-08, 08:27 PM popularty contests aren't for me good. i'll be interested in seeing your reasons for supporting your candidate.
Sandy, how do you feel about Romney's healthcare stance?
As I understand it, I support it.

even though its the same basic plan as he put into action in Massachusetts and now they're staring at $400mil in the red for health care they were told wouldn't cost them a dime in tax increases?
It's not the same. He got real smart on healthcare by researching it before his MA plan. He knows that won't work for every state but does want everyone insured so hospitals quit going broke from theft (non-payers). He does not want to raise taxes to do it and he does not want socialized medicine.
He would leave it up to each state how they want to do it. What would work in CA would never work in MT. I agree everyone should choose to be insured and buy their own. Unfortunately too many people think it's the gov's job.
Challenger78 02-04-08, 08:00 AM I'm not American, so I wouldn't vote, but... Seems to me, that none of them want to lose world domination for anyone or anything. I would not vote for Huckabee or any republican candidate. Sorry, but O reilly, and Coutler and all those other bastards (along with W) really gave you guys a bad rep. Even though they don't represent the party, they represent the viewpoint.

We don't care about our rep. We care about staying alive. And about getting the criminal aliens out of our country. There is only one man who can do both and it's Romney. The rest will let the criminal aliens stay and take over the country. The democrats will cut and run from Iraq causing Iran and Syria to take over. All hell will break loose. :(
O'Reilly, Coulter, Rush, Hannity and the rest of the cream of the crop Americans only represent about half. The other half is represented by loons like the drive-by media, Ted Kennedy, Michael Moore, George Soros, Air America, ACLU, SanFran, etc...:(

If I had to have a country full of ICBMs and shotguns along with AR 15 armalite rifles, I'd rather have Moore, and their lot at the helm. Kennedy would be like old times.. without the Cold War...

FYI: Paul is a Republican who wants to get rid of our whole "world domination" foreign policy.

good to know . Is he still willing to increase gun control and reduce your nuclear stockpile ?

Ladies and Gents, I present to you, Sandy, In the flesh of political opinion.
I bear you no ill will, but wish apon you a relevation.

Decrease gun control as he feels the increase has only benefited criminals, and I don't think he'd reduce our nuclear stockpile.

Us, Australians have no nukes as of yet, We need to develop ABM technology, or copy off the Israelis. Also, Would someone please get your bases off our damn soil ?.. (no offense, It ruins the skyline):D

Paul's your man for that. ;)
At the same time, don't get your hopes up. He's a long shot candidate at best, and it'd be a miracle if he wins the nomination. I'm still supporting him till he drops out though.
invert_nexus 02-04-08, 08:21 AM I'm voting Huckabee. But, only because I've been promised a great reward if I do so.

Is it a tax Cut ?

Moore would just hand America over to the evil muslim terrorists and criminal aliens. He hates America but he sure loves the millions he's making off her. :(
Kennedy is a drunken freakshow abomination. He got away with killing an innocent American woman and then lying about it. MA is the only place where incoherent alcoholic philanderers can avoid honest jobs for their entire adult lives as long as they have the right last name.
invert_nexus 02-04-08, 08:27 AM Is it a tax Cut ?
Better.
The best thing in all the worlds.
If I get this thing, then I will be ruler of all the lands.
Of course, Huckabee isn't going to get the nomination so I don't think I'm going to get the chance to vote for him so I won't get the reward (the reward is not for voting for him in the primary unfortunately).
So, realistically, I'll end up voting for whichever Democrat gets the nomination.
Or Ron Paul, but he's not going to get it either.
If Paul doesn't get the nomination and doesn't run third party, I'll likely sit out this election.
If Obama is the D-nom, the election is going to the Democrats, especially if McCain is the R-nom. I'm a little unsure as to what would happen if Hillary gets the nomination, but I think the Democrats would win then too.
Best "I'm voting Republican" badge ever:
