Power Scan

    Can anyone tell me what Power Scan is? And more important, why did it appear on my computer when I rebooted? I am very sure that I never installed it.
    It is supposed to get rid of the porn-related history on your system, but is that the real purpose? And why does it appear without my consent...

    Ah, forget it, I have looked around a bit and I have to say the programm is just a crappy version of the Windows search function.

    Powerscan is a datamining piece of adware. Kill the fucker. It probably installed itself via some toolbar in your browser, or more alarmingly a trojan. TROJ_ISTBAR.D might install it, for example. You should probably run adware or pestpatrol or some such
