As the title says u post movies u'v watched that was very weird/bizarre etc . Lesser known movies,no popular allowed ;P I'll start with some: *Gummo.(was amusing and shocking in a weird way) *The Holy mountain.(philosophical and weird) *Mulholland Drive.(the director was like "if anyone finds out the true meaning of this movie contact me"). *Begotten (this is 'wtf'). *Walking life (rather philosophical not very bizarre, but extremely interesting).
The Rapture One of the strangest films I ever saw was The Rapture, starring Mimi Rogers and David Duchovny. I still haven't seen Crispin Glover's What Is It? which is apparently an insanely strange film.
Brazil takes the cake for me. Also on my list is Gummo as diecider says. Cannibal Holocaust. Lost Highway Orphans Pi Tideland All worth seeing!
La Cabina by Antonio Mercero its quite simply one of the most hauntingly creepy films of all time http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay...CZDg&q=la cabina film&hl=en&client=firefox-a# Bad Boy Bubby - Rolf de Heer part 1 is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HH95r7PK4P8&feature=player_embedded
ye i'v seen tetsuo was pretty kool ,gozu too ,bad boy bubby etc. heck also "nekromatik" U should check Taxidermia too The two latter are bizarre + veryyy disturbing. Not recommended for 'light' people.
It was strange but one of the Best! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Another strange one by Johnny Depp Ed Wood http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109707/
Ahhh yes! Ed Wood is at the top of my favorite weird/strange movie list too. (Johnny Depp is one of the greatest actors of this generation, no doubt about that) My favorite movie in this category is, Harold and Maude which starred Ruth Gordon. Anyone see it? If not, you should. You will probably want to see it more than once. Release date, 1971
It depends (at least more than little) on what you expect to see that decides whether or not a movie is "weird" - perspective. For example the superb British comedy series Nightingales had one character describe a film he'd seen recently: "It was all about this bloke in a dress, and he spent all the time riding this horse with a big pimple on its back, while talking foreign to people on the beach". Long pause while the other characters process this information and then: "Are you talking about Lawrence of Arabia?"
OMG I was going to post that movie!!! Only it's not so much strange as it is sick in the head. Mulholland Drive Lost Highway Fear and loathing in Los Vegus ahhh.... I was just talking about Naked Lunch about 4 days ago... they were a bit strange.
