Are there any "modern" portable TVs out there? If I'm going to pay (relatively) big bucks for a 22" LCD TV, I want it to be portable & wireless. Ideally, I'd want to take the TV with satellite feed anywhere in the house. Allright, I don't mind plugging in the power but that's it! And why not also use it as a computer monitor? I guess the biggest challenge is sending the sattelite signal through a wireless network to the monitor. Is it?

Actually the main problem with Monitors versus televisions was pretty much down to the pixel number difference between the two. However with the increase in digital signals that problem is a thing of the past because more information can be broadcast, although it does require more computerised technology to decypher.
The other point is, Why would you want a television to be that portable?
If your moving around (mobile) then obviously you should be looking where your going rather than at the telly. (Although I can understand you would want a box that doesn't take 3 delivery guys to move about the house.)

I love quality, I would rather look at a 15"LCD or plasma screen than a 65" projection. I also can't afford to have 20" or 25" LCD on every floor (3) and in front of every couch or bed in my house.

I kniow alot of people who have projectors. You can get high quality ones and your own movie theatre at the same time!! The quality is much higher than a projection TV. Here are a few projectors to consider:
Panasonic (http://www.panasonic.com/consumer_electronics/tv/lcdfront.asp)
Cheaper, variety (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Category/category_tlc.asp?CatId=23)
My Idea might be a little over-the-top, but you can get high quality, portability and if you shop around, you can get a good price. You can get wireless setups as well.
I have a small Casio TV,about size of a normal desktop Mouse,it works fine with four pencil batteries,Pic quality is O.K. really...
However i have a SONY (Largest Size thats available) with BOSE system for my room.(And no i am not kidding!)...
bye!

Thanks cosmic. This (http://www.emrkt.com/comtrad/tv/tv.htm) is the wireless flexibility I'm talking about.

It may take awhile for it to load, give it a few minutes. :)
here's another site (http://www.mediaatlantic.com/product.php?xProd=255&xSec=1188).
They're wireless video transmitters & receivers. I wonder how well they work and what's the quality of the video & sound.
