I never understood these endorsements by former rivals (former as in like a day ago). You know Clark, you don't have to endorse anyone. Afterall, just a few days ago you didn't think any one of them deserved to be president. These endorsements make these people into hypocrites. Gephardt is the same. I can't trust either of them now after their 180 degree change in their views to create a stupid endorsement.

They are trying to maneuver into position to be selected for VP.

I registered to vote today, chose the independence party.

This is a year in which it is more important than ever for the opposition to the incumbent to show a united front. Considering how Bush's posse has trampled on the Constitution during his first term, if he's allowed to remain in office for four more years there's a very real chance that there will never be another election. (Unless you count the kind they have in China.)

Many of us third party supporters (we're Libertarians and we know quite a few Greens) are throwing in with the Democrats this time. Party loyalty be damned. What's important is to build so much support for Kerry that he can woo the disenchanted Republicans away from their own candidate, minimize defection from the Democratic Party by sore losers who are disappointed that their own boy didn't win, and create a sense of solidarity with our anti-Republocrat bloc so that our few hundred votes don't go to someone like Nader and possibly lose an entire state to Bush.
