A friend and I will be going to Poland sometime next year for a weekend (don't ask how we got that idea). Does anyone know what the more interresting places to visit. We are going to Warschau so anything near that place will be great.

I have been to Chicago. That's the same thing as Poland.

Ahum in what way? I have really no idea what i would get in Poland.

A lot of Poles? Chicago is the 2nd biggest Polish city in the world.

I have never been there, but all I have heard of it , has been said in a negative manner. It's the land of misery, or so they say. I'm sure it can be pittoresque, if it's that you are looking for. Or if you wish to hook up with the russian mafia, then I think Poland is the land to go to. :D

Well it's only going to be a weekend so 1 night out atleast and trying to fill in the day with places to see.

I have had a relationship with a Polish girl. But I have never been in Poland.
I am told it's - in general- a beautyful country, with a typical land climate.
My own experience with the people is that they are very polite, but also they very much have the tendency to stick their noses where they don't belong. Everybody tells evything to everybody. The words "keep it between us" they do not seem to know.

I general, I have learned not to trust Polish people. But maybe it's because my gf turned out to be a freakin'b****
