A friend and I will be going to Poland sometime next year for a weekend (don't ask how we got that idea). Does anyone know what the more interresting places to visit. We are going to Warschau so anything near that place will be great.
I have never been there, but all I have heard of it , has been said in a negative manner. It's the land of misery, or so they say. I'm sure it can be pittoresque, if it's that you are looking for. I have had a relationship with a Polish girl. But I have never been in Poland. I am told it's - in general- a beautyful country, with a typical land climate. My own experience with the people is that they are very polite, but also they very much have the tendency to stick their noses where they don't belong. Everybody tells evything to everybody. The words "keep it between us" they do not seem to know. I general, I have learned not to trust Polish people. But maybe it's because my gf turned out to be a freakin'b****
