Pokemon Diamon And Pearl released in UK today i have something to say

right so i'm talking with my sister a few days back and we are mega excited about the new pokemon games comming here to the uk...now were on the bus and we are talking and this girl heres as talking. i said "aw i can't wait until friday its going to be made of epic win." and this girl she says to me "POKEMON! are you some kind of pedo." please can someone give me a reason why people are obessed with pokemon being only for little baby kids? esepcally as i really did'nt quite understand the things it has taught me.

please explain.
