Playstation X!!

A new console from Sony!!
The product will integrate games, pictures and music using advanced semiconductor technology, combining real-time game operating systems and fast DVD/hard-disk recorders.

In a statement, Sony said the PSP and PSX "will mark the beginning of a new series of products that will unite the most advanced electronics devices with the leading-edge semiconductor technology associated with the game sector."

Old news. We knew about this last year. Not as much as we know now (seeing as how the PSP wasn't under wraps,) but it doesn't surprise me.

Another thing is that Sony, although a big company, will have a hard time battling Microsoft and whatever technologies it decides to push out. Wait and see what Gates does in retaliation. They're are still surprises up their sleeves.

Oh..and one last prediction; Nintendo will not survive the next round. They'd be best to follow suit with Sega and make bucks pumping out games. It's sad, but I really don't see how such a small company can keep up with the big fishes.
