You're obviously not rushing into this and you've been around a while, so you'll know your own mind, but a few questions:

    Why Computer Science?
Do you know all the different parts that comprise compsci, and the amount of each that are involved?
Are you looking to get a job with the qualification? If so, what are your expectations, fears? What kind of job do you hope to get?

I'm not saying this is you, at all, but it's a personal experience of mine. My family, friends and everyone I know says I'm into computers. I spend a lot of time on the computer, know how to build them/mess about with them and make them work. I'm not that into computers though. I can sit and piss about on the internet for days and then use some very unfriendly software to do things that I'm interested in, but the second anyone tries to make me program 'hello world' in C+ or learn about algorithms, I lose all interest.

Basically, all I'm saying is -
Be sure of everything that's involved and know that there's probably going to be parts of the course that you really don't enjoy.

As for paid employment, I'm not too sure. I don't know your background and I've barely had a handful of minimum wage jobs, so I'm not that knowledgable on the subject, but I'm wondering what your chances are. As a recently qualified student, but already older than most others, people might not hire you as readily as a twenty something. I could be wrong, and I hope I am. Anyway, hopefully somebody in the biz will tell it how it is.

Apologies if I've come across as condescending.
