A good book to read about relationships is "The Beloved" by Stephen and Ondrea Levine. I really recommend it. You haven´t been togehter for so long(?) and there is always a critical period in a relationship when it´s decided whether it´s a serious commited one or not.

I didn´t know however, I was surprised, hoping for a much better card.

I believe I am right on religion. I believe there is no god. I also believe I could be wrong. I also believe Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Budhism..... could be right. I choose not to follow them because (a) there is no hard evidence to prove them....(b) I don't see how any one of them is more likely or provable (is that a word?) than any other, so I wouldn't know which to pick.....(c) If they are real, then God is a cruel, disgusting being and I would rather rot in hell than worship this horrid beast.

a) If you want to be listened to try not to insult anyone, regardless of their opinion.

b) Try to provide facts for the points that you're trying to get across. I mean solid websites or newspaper articles.

c) Have fun discussing any topics that you'd like, try to form relationships outside of the threads that you post so that you can kid around with everyone in free thoughts (like me, right guys:rolleyes: ).

Pollux, I just thought of one important thing, that you are actually too young to lay out cards for. I did that mistake once, and layed out cards for a kid that is a relative and he got the most horrible cards. I think that happened just to warm me not to do that again. I don't know what the exact age limit is supposed to be, but I'm thinking 14 is too young. It's a "rule" not to lay out cards for kids.

Personally, I chose to ask Bebelina her opinion because she offered. It is my decision to take her opinion at face value or not, regardless if she consulted the Tarot or a turtle. Nothing wrong with opinions from a completely different point of view.

Therefore, the proof of the outcome will rest solely with my decision.

First of all I will answer Hoth's question: What significance do tarot cards have if any?
They have as much significance as you want them to have. They are, after all, just pieces of paper with pictures printed on. I can get the same anwers from flipping channels on TV for instance. They provide the same amount of information, as clues to the reality beyond the physical as does any other event, thing or phenomena. The physical reality is intself like a big tarot deck where answers can be found everywhere if you just know how to interpret them. Then the answer of the same question can be different depending on your intention with the question at the time it was asked. Every moment is new, with new possiblities. The answers a tarot deck can provide are just answers from that precise moment in time when you had a particular intention that the clues( cards, channels, food left overs..) responded to. So don't take them too seriously, it's better to rely on your own free choice and common sense. But sometimes the right card hits just where it's supposed to.

Should I bother to study for finals?
The Tower. It's a card that shows that you will be dissapointed, but that you from that have a new ground to build a life on. But yes, of course you should study, don't give up!

What will I be doing a year from now?
The Fool. :D It's the best of cards and yet the most dangerous too. It sais that you will have a new start, face you challanges boldly. But beware of too much partying.

Hmm. the teacher thing is great. Even were it to give a good feeling about it. I am a very emotionally driven person, you know.

And about the girl. It makes sense to me. Not for long I have the feeling of regained hope in love. After being left (out of the blue) by the girl I loved more than anything, I had a year of "rest" and after that I had a relationship lasting about a year that truned into hell. So, I lost hope.

On the other hand, I am not quitre certain what to make of cards, I-ching, etc. :)

The future is NEVER set up, you make it. You have nothing to lose by asking her, and if you don't you will always wonder what she would have said, right?
The cards for you had their focus on what you SHOULD concentrate on, as your spiritual maturity process, and that is was best suited for you to do this in solitude.

I am thinking about getting a new job. Right now engineering jobs in US are hard to find and there are still layoffs everywhere.
