Has anyone here actually spent a dime at any site they had been under-handedly redirected to, been bombarded with pop-ups about or been sent a patently dishonest email about?

I, personally, would not spend money at a site that uses these techniques even if I was going to BEFORE. I would purposely redirect my money elsewhere for the sole reason that they use such reprehensible tactics.
Not only that, but if what they were trying to sell was any good, it should stand on its own, so if they are forced to play such foolish games to get people to buy, it makes me think it must not be worth buying at all.
