i have to admit i'm confused that you who started a thread about living with violence would be upset about my posts. So is it okay if i murder or rape as long as I speak politely?

ive never said its good to murder and rape, ive said its natural and common in the animal and human kingdom.

i want to know why every single post you make seems to be insulting everyone. its like you think whoever doesent agree with you is a prick and everyone should conform to your school of thought or you will insult them alot otherwise.

im saying lighten up people will listen to yoyr point of view and what you are saying alot more if you dont insult them so much. people are just going to get annoyed with you insulting them all the time in ever post, that when you do have something relevent and profound to say they might not even take notice of it,

peace.

Rape is not natural in human behavior. It is the product of a sick, depraved, pathetic excuse for a human taking their anger/aggression out on another person.

And amen to the peta thing. He/she(?) attacks almost everything I say.

Rape is not natural in human behavior. Well, it sure as heck is natural in the animal kingdom. If you are a fundamentalist Christian this fact can be conveniently overlooked. If you have a more rational turn of mind then it should sound a warning. Since our close relatives amongst the primates indulge in the practice, and it abounds elsewhere, it might be worth taking heed of this natural behaviour.

If we do that we have a chance of preventing it through education, moral restrictions, the threat of punishment, and an appeal to good sense.

Alternatively you can bury your head in the sand and bemoan the fact that some people are just evil. I far prefer to aim for prevention and such a strategy must begin with a recognition of the nature of rape and its wholly natural character.

"Close relatives amongst the primates"????
I have no connection to any primate. Creation. Not evolution. I didn't come from no monkey.

I'm not convinced it's natural when the majority of animals mutually choose who they procreate with.

I was referring to the monkey-type primate. Of course we are bipedals but I don't support the whole 'evolved from primates' (monkeys) bs.

Luckily, science isn't decided by the undereducated. You can believe whatever you want, it doesn't change the fact that evolution happened and that modern monkeys and apes have a common ancestor to H. sapiens (that's people).
