View Full Version : Pertinence
Cortex_Colossus 08-16-07, 12:23 PM Pertinence is what we should live for. Pertinence not to our dreams, but to the material reality that includes character (e.g.words) and content (e.g. matter). Accept something for what it is, not what it should be, or could be, because your mind will be drifting from the present moment and you will lose pertinence. I do not mean to nurture it, so do not get the image of nurturing men. Freedom is lost while conjuring the concept of freedom at any specific moment. The only exception is a lack of energy.
Just helping out ;)

Bingo.
We must let go of the past and live our lives, but always learn and remain understanding of our mistakes.

I fully agree, apart from that i dont really know how to add to the discussion however.
Accept something for what it is, not what it should be, or could be, because your mind will be drifting from the present moment and you will lose pertinence. And what if you can't pertinently figure out the pertinent aspect of something at the pertinent moment of its pertinency?

What an odd thing to say. If we learn from our mistakes, and try to understand those mistakes, then we're making use of the past, not letting it go!
