One of the best foods, or THE best food ever? I know that every culture has it's little spreads (Aussies have Vegemite and the Jews have Hummus Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!), but I don't think I could live without the stuff. In cookies, on the spoon, in a sandwich, it's just unbeatable. ~String
Every morning my husband has crunchy peanutbutter on english muffins and I have creamy peanutbutter on raisin or cranberry bread.
I eat peanut butter all by itself. It doesn't have to go with anything, except I like to have milk with it, sometimes.
You serve your husband peanut butter for breakfast? Hah! If you were my wife, I'd beat you. Okay, maybe I wouldn't beat you, but I would yell very loudly (loud enough to wake up the kids). I'd probably throw the peanut butter muffins at you/across the dining room, and storm out as you cleaned up the mess. /glossy look in eyes Just like my dad used to do. string: Peanut butter is okay, mainly because it's easy to use when there isn't a woman at home to cook me a meal. It's best after a workout, in my opinion. Kadark
OMG! I remember that! When us kids used to whine about begin hungry our Mom would hand us a spoonful of peanutbutter. We'd walk around eating it til supper.
What if your woman made food with peanut butter in it? Especially desserts. A lot desserts use peanut butter.
LOL, I'm still sleeping when he leaves for work. I only make breakfast on the weekends. And I've never met a person who likes peanutbutter more than him. We always have to have it in the house or he goes though something akin to withdrawal. He may not eat it every day, but he needs to know its in the cupboard 'just in case'
I never eat it anything that contains hydrogenated oil is not healthy, margarine is another such bad food Id avoid like a plague. instead I put cream cheese or liver pate on the bread...never eat toast either, burning bread just kills all the good nutrients. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
My mother wouldn't let me have more than one spoon so she would hide it from me and my father, but now I can buy my own peanut butter and eat as much as I want. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! yummy

My main issue is if it's served as the main part of a meal. For breakfast, I like two eggs (scrambled, unscrambled, it doesn't matter - I prefer surprises, really), four large beef sausages, hot tea, maybe a half dozen pancakes (with syrup poured individually over each pancake), and a glass of milk to wash it all down. Sure, odds are I'll have a heart attack before I hit thirty, but I simply work out excessively to compensate. How else should a man eat breakfast? "Ohh noo! I can't eat that because it contains hydrogenated oil!" What? Who cares? I don't even know what hydrogenated oil is, but that has never bothered me. I'll just sweat it all out during an intense workout/basketball tournament. That's how biology works. Kadark
You can always eat the organic variety like I do (it's the best peanut butter on earth): Peanut Butter & Co. In a pinch, I'll take Skippy, which I love. Jiff sucks. ~String
Bullshit. The two work in concert. You may keep the weight off for now, but as you age, you should take care as to what you put in your body. This ain't a prescription for self-denial, but one for moderation. ~String
Good. Seeing you know just how you like everything, you are more than capable of making it all for yourself. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Oh yeah.. And working out? Won't get rid of the crud in your arteries, nor will it keep you from getting fat as you get older. So you'll end up with fat built up around your middle, which is the worst kind to get. On the other hand, if I were your wife, I'd make sure to keep feeding you the two eggs, sausages, pancakes, along with the tea and full cream dairy milk. Then when you keel over at 30, I'll be sure to smile as I reminded you that you did it all to yourself, as you are taking those last little gasps of air..Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
No it isn't. Where did you year that? Sugar, ingested, is bad for you teeth, provided you do not brush. Peanut butter does have sugar in it, but it's mostly protein, which has little effect on your teeth. ~String
I like organic sunflower butter. I have no favourite brand. And I'm not picky when it comes to peanutbutter, but my husband insists on Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
