    Alright. Question about Windows XP.

How do you password-lock individual folders? Say, for example, that I made a folder in the C drive named "BOOGIEWARTS". How do I make it so that whenever someone tries to access the contents inside the BOOGIEWARTS folder, it asks for a password (which, of course, I make up)?

    Help!

How about locking them so that even when I click on it, I need to give a password?

Folder permissions can be set to deny access to other users.
Or, you can search google for any number of programs to do such things.

setting folder rights only works if your the only "top" level user.

a simple way to protect your gay porn would be stuffing it in a password protected zip file.
alpha first link also looks good

Not gay porn. It doesn't turn me on.
(I need women in my porn. The more women the merrier, and the fewer males the better. Absolute favorite is lesbian porn involving strap-ons, but I digress ...

Alright. Gotcha. I've locked it inside a zip file and locked that with the AxCrypt.

Still no way of just locking plain folders?

Steganos Security Suite is another one you can use, it can cost unless of course your cheeky and get a cracked version.

It allows the encryption/passwording of a folder and files and it allows you to store files in images amongst other things.

Well, you could take my suggestion and search google for the dozens (hundreds?) of other programs that can do just that. I think one is called FolderLock. :bugeye:
