I didn't know where else to put this thread, so I decided it really was a free thought.

    - Protests held on that bottom left corner.

Yesterday [Nov 22 2008], hundreds of Muslims from the local mosque and nearby mosques felt it necessary to hit the streets of Tempe Arizona. They had numerous signs, and they made sure to bring their 12 year old children with American flags in their hands. Waving the "Palestinian flag" which is really just a combination of other local flags. But those flags weren't really the bulk of their campaign. Their signs included "Who would Jesus Bomb", "Israel is Racism", and "End Evil Occupations".

A group of Jews exiting the local restaurant told us how they had just gotten back from Israel and were harassed by the Muslims when trying to leave. Other Israelis on the streets were harassed, including one who didn't feel safe enough to go home...as they were blocking the exit of where she was. What would make this Israeli woman attending University so nervous?

May it have been the chants of "Death death death to Israel", or the woman on the loud speaker (Who they kindly quickly removed) screaming "Kill the Jew". Or might it have been the men screaming in unison "Allu Akhbar, death to Israel". No one is quite sure why she was so nervous, or why numerous Jews had to flee from their jobs last night on Mill Avenue.

I surely will never forget the boy no older than 12 screaming to me from his car "Long Live Palestine, death to the Jew!"

What's good to know, and Americans should be proud of is the overwhelming antagonism from passer-byers. Screaming "Go home Terrorists!" and "Get out of my country!" The average American in Tempe Az. that night finally got a first hand view of what Israelis deal with as common behavior in Israel...and they didn't like it.

Most of these people had never been to Palestine, nor met a Palestinian, and hated me...why? I wasn't in Israel, how could I be oppressing the Palestinians from my 1 bedroom poor-mans apartment in Tempe Az? Much less screaming "Death to the Jew" as a chant at me? Perhaps this is evidence to the irreconcilably insane nature of the Muslim propaganda machine...

    hmm...

I've seen these protests in various parts of the US. And they never chant anything like that. You're a liar.

I was there...you can convince yourself I am lying...or you can convince others I am lying. But you can't convince me I am lying.

Since it did happen to...me. And yes - I surely will never forget the boy no older than 12 screaming to me from his car "Long Live Palestine, death to the Jew!" happened.

and yes, "Allu Akhbar, death to Israel" and Death death death to Israel did happen.

I will admit though, the majority of the slogans chanted were about "Peace in the Middle East, down with Oppression". The chants about killing Jews and Israel were usually changed quickly by the people who ran the protest.

Thank you for the clarification. I see nothing wrong with "death to Israel", an apartheid state has no place in the modern world. Its not politically correct to have that kind of opinion though, neither in the US nor in sciforums.

I think you should be allowed in Mecca, its nothing more than a mosque. There are plenty of Jews who work in Saudi Arabia and I see no reason why they cannot visit Mecca. I believe the Saudis are afraid of sabotage but thats ridiculous, mosques can be rebuilt.

I've seen plenty of Jewish non-Israelis protesting for their apartheid state in the US too.

For the same reasons Jews support the funneling of billions of US aid dollars into bombing Palestinians.

Maybe you guys are missing the point.

I'm Jewish, I am not Israeli.
It's wrong to teach your 12 year old boy to want to kill anyone.

It's even more wrong to teach him to want to kill Jews who have never been a part of Israel...

Also; Pro-Israel rallies aren't "Kill the Palestinian" rallies...they're "Maintain the state" rallies.

When a rally is held that is specifically saying "Kill this group of people, even the ones not associated with the conflict." and this is there literal words they are saying...I think that is wrong.

So you're denying that Jews support the funnelling of billions of US dollars into bombing Palestinians?

If it's their income they are funneling, then no. I believe there are a lot of rich Jewish philanthropists who donate money to Israel. But it isn't illegal. Not to mention most (if not all) of that money goes to social welfare...considering the majority of the state is living in poverty. The tax rates are around 60% there.

How many rich American philanthropists funnel money into Switzerland? Africa? Mexico?

You must have been one of those kids I saw at the rally last night, no older than 12 screaming "Death to Israel, kill the Jew". Certainly you had the freewill to choose another opinion for yourself...

Actually a pair of floating eyes came up to me last night, I assume she was from Saudi. She told me to "Read the Torah". I said "Do you know Hebrew?", in Hebrew. She didn't. So I said "Learn Hebrew".

So the book itself is racist then? Interesting.

Dante's Inferno can be translated by anyone who knows Latin and Italian.

But it only makes sense if you know a lot about Christianity.

Don't see with me CheskiChips, that the israeli children -some how - were participate in war crime, or it's permissible for them to spread their spite, racialism, horribleness !!!!!!
