Now the current Palastinian population is around 4-4.5 million. I'm not sure as to the exact statistical nature with regards to the birth/death rate of the Palastinians, but a lot of young males have died, and continue to die. Those who were married leave widdows, then it comes down to whether or not those widdows have childeren, and those men that were single, cuts down on the further offspring. I'm just wondering if it's at all posible for the Palastinian people to one day completey die out???

But right now it seems very improbably unless some kind of a catastrophe occured. I'm talking about a comet, or a nuke. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry. They tend to reproduce rapidly as in most third world area's.

Considering the number of palestinian refugees in other arab states and other middle eastern countries (for example, there are 90,000 now being kicked out of Iraq over the concerns of the UN refugee commissionar), I don't think that any event is going to render them extinct without killing off most of the human race.

That said, I don't think extinct is the correct term, since it applies to a species, not an ethnic group.
