Am I right in thinking that the PS3 isn't exactly flying off the shelves here in the UK?
I could be wrong but when I checked out a local GAME store they had plenty of PS3's but no Wii's until hopefully May!!!

wsi I think there are large amounts of stock but also it isn't getting great reviews. People are not going made for it but the wii has been the surprise console and its very hard to get hold off. Ebay is full of people who brought them to see on, I know someone who brought 3, 2 of them to sell. But I don't even think people are getting what they paid for them.

I am thinking of getting a wii it gets great reviews but I wonder does it get boring quickly. It reminds my of the PS2 Webcam games very good fun for a few days or weeks but boring after that. I think that your actions are no accurately reflected on what happens on the screen.

I'm planning to get a ps3 around October. Hopefully the price will have dropped, more games will be out and other features will be available.

LittleBigPlanet has me sold already and the playstation home stuff looks kind of amusing. The next Gran Turismo should be intense. GTA4, which might be exclusive to playstation for a certain length of time again (no idea).

I have a Wii, and yes, the novelty wears off pretty fast. There are some decent games for the system, but only a few. Zelda is really the only must-have, but the new Godfather game is also fun.

The PS3 is a great system, it just hasn't had the titles yet. The 360 went through the exact same series of phases. First, there was the camping. Then, the e-bay shuffle. Then the console was impossible to find due to manufacturing problems (SRAM for MS and Blu-Ray diode for Sony). Then there were stocked shelves and an embarrassing lack of demand around March for both systems. Then, in late March and April for both systems, they got their first next-gen-looking games. Fight Night Round 3 and Oblivion for the 360, and Motorstorm and Oblivion for the PS3.

The most telling comparison is to look at each respective month. The PS3 has outsold the 360 for each of these months. As you said, it is the Wii which is embarrassing both systems right now.

I haven't even touched my Wii lately. I'm finding that the best games are on the handhelds. I spend most of my time with my PSP and DS. I'll be getting a PS3 when "LittleBigPlanet" comes out. I'm also keen on Ratchet and Clank coming to the PS3, the next Singstar, and the next Final Fantasy game.
