I have this horrible teacher, who thinks that she knows all and sees all. But in reality she is a midless idiot, who is easily manipulated, and her only "sheild" is sarcasm, and fake authority.

So anyway, we have to write 5 detailed essays, and she said that we probably will do horribly on this, so can somebody tell me what they would write, and I will re-arrange the words so that I can write it in the essay. Because then she will think that I am a awesome writer... anyway the question...(Oh ya you can just mkae it all up say what would sound best IE for number one say I led a whole orginzation of the Cental Asia FOundation)

1)One of these themes this year hs been leadership, describe how you have exhibited leadership. What are your strenghts and weaknesses as a leader, What is important to become a positive leader?

    2) Descirbe best's/ worst's things that have happened to you this year, What would you chane I.E. classroom. Discuss How you have grown as a reader/writer. Include two things you have learned.

    3) Never Mind It doesnt make sense to anyone of you

    4) In a well-written essay discuss Ray Bradbury--- his beliefs, life, influences on his writing...

    5) Pick three books you have enjoyed reading this year. What about these books have made an impression. Tell Why. Eloborate on the elements that made the book better. Discuss Favorite Author...

    Your help is greatly needed.......

First, these questions are all opinionated. Do you have an opinion? Yes, so no help there.

If you needed to discuss how an essay should flow, I'd help, but cmon, opinions on Farenheit (sp?) 451 are not hard.

Ray bradbury often spent many of his years contemplating on whether to play with his daughter and work at home or to work at the library free of the temptation to entertain his daughter, of course he chose the the latter because it was his only source of income, he would often spend many days under the library in the basement typing away at 10C per hour typwriters in order to ascertain ideas, of course many of the times he did this he would put 10 C in and then only sit there for hours staring at a bland piece of paper as he tried to write something, this was how he brainstormed. Later in lfie he was much more succsesfull after a movie was made from one of his most famouse books "farenheight 451" and also off his most controversial book "One flew over the coockoo's nest" in which he detailed the horrible shock treatment given to several mental patients. He wrote many controversial books detailing mans treck towards happyness showing hte extreme point which something may come to if ignorance is allowed to run the nations cities and countries.

    What grade are you in?

    What books did you read?

Which ones were by Ray Bradbury?

How many paragraphs do they have to be?

First off..you can't just "rearrange words" and then have a really good paper and make your teacher think you are an awesome writer. It doesnt work that way. The English language can be very subtle. A simple change in word order changes the meaning of a sentence drastically. You can't just plug a word from a thesaurus and keep the same meaning. Different words have different meanings and connotations to them. You really need to do your own work as well. If you think of school as a "system" you should probably leave. Most of us do our best to learn as much as possible. No matter how "mindless" you think she is, that teacher probably has a great deal to teach you simply by being on this Earth longer.

Sounds to be around 8th grade reading level, maybe freshman/sophmore year in high school so they don't have to be complicated at all. Just bullshit. That's what I did through high school...was even in English honors. Just be sure you write a large amount. Go in circles, beat around the bush. When i write like that I don't stop to think, i just keep going. Can come up with a few pages in less than 30min. They see a lot of writing, they assume you put much work in, you usually get a good grade(don't know how your teacher is). Just don't let them know how smart you are, that way they think you're always trying your hardest.

"I have this horrible teacher, who thinks that she knows all and sees all. But in reality she is a midless idiot, who is easily manipulated, and her only "sheild" is sarcasm, and fake authority."

She's like a lot of other teachers and you're like a lot of other kids. I don't know much about psychology, but you have this one personality type. Someone else probably knows about it, but they think highly of themselves and think they're smarter than everyone else when they're just mediocre in actuality. Probably listen to Tool or some "i'm unique" music like that. Think of yourself as an unnapreciated scholar of sorts, lots of computer games. Maybe I'm wrong, but you reminded me of it, I read about it somewhere...it's supposedly really common now with the internet and such since that type rarely goes outside and scarce social interaction with real people gives a diluted view of things, less of a "real life" medium to use as a ruler and compare to...something like that. C'mon some else has to have read this same article somewhere or an article about the same type of thing -- how people are changing and personality types are changing (or adapting?) with the internet becomming such a big part of life now...cant remember where I read it.

Wow, hows that for being sidetracked?
--Back to your question, go to www.novelguide.com or www.gradesaver.com and look at the information they have at books. Look at some of the points they've made or pointed out and incorporate them into your essays. That'll make them think you read (in case you didn't, some of the books they require you to read are terrible).

And about your title "Out-smarting the System" our school "system" is hardly a system at all and their ain't much to outsmart. It's kind of funny. When I saw the title I was thinking tax evasion, fraud, or evading the draft or some shit like that.

Edit: think i've got the right links this time

So true about not letting people know how smart you are. The smarter you are the more people want from you. If your a fool, you can get to your work easily, because no one wants your input. But if your smart, everyone thinks they are entitled a portion of your time.

Y'know what, COFTM? I'm surprised you actually expect us to do this for you. I'm even more surprised that people are helping you out.

But what surprises me the most is that you're willing to accept whatever we throw at you, and thats disturbing onto itself. Do you honestly believe that you'll be a better person by showing up your teacher? HA! I say - You wont. Don't blame your teacher for anything. Blame yourself for letting it get to you. And blame yourself for stooping to this level. There's nothing to be gained by making her right. You're being what I like to call retroactively-active. If she is this stupid and petty person that you describe, then you shouldn't feel the need to stoop to her intelligence level and become the predator that she is. Make sense? Don't do it.

I can give you some good advice on how to write your essay though. Basically, keep it simple, to the point and articulate. Be honest and of all things, use figures of speech. Teachers drool when you have a simile, metaphor, or anything simple-stupid stuck in their because it shows that you're thinking on a more than literal level.

    Good luck with your essay.

Taking someone else's compositions to fool your teacher into thinking that you learned something in her class wouldn't be out-smarting the system, it would be the system out-smarting you.

    Good Luck.

It seems to me that you will fail miserably on this one..

we can help you on data but you will have to do the essays yourself.
Have confidence in your own ability, write about the above,i.e.exhibited leadership, your strenghts and weaknesses as a leader...

    Ha..ha....bwahahahah!

    [sarcasm]Good one[/sarcasm]

I'm not sure I understand how we jumped to conclusions. We infered from the context of your thread that you were trying to 'out-smart' the teacher. By changing the context you don't out-smart us at all. Grey Seal was right:

Anyways, incase you didn't notice, nobody was really ticked off by your request. We all felt kind of sorry for your patheticness. That's all.

You don't lie very well, not at all. Now I'm sure you're around the 8th grade/freshman year. Only a kid would write something akin to what you wrote. You're about as hard to see through as a pane of air. Nice try though...wait, nevermind, I take that back. No points awarded.

Looks like someone got too close to the truth and you panicked, throwing out a half-assed attepmt at a cover-up post in hasty retreat.
