How does the "Who's Online" thing work, if you have 2 windows open of SciForums at the same time, and you have both of them running (like surfing with both, or posting with one and surfing with the other...or using PM's with one and posting a reply in the other)? I have 2 windows open right now, and I thought it would be rather funny, if someone was watching Who's Online and seeing the location of me changing abruptly every other second.

I've pondered this many-a-starlit night and I can find no answer.

It's just based on the last page that a user loaded, with some timeout for inactivity. You'll notice that if you visit the activity page, it shows the last place you visited - despite the fact that you're looking at the activity page. So, there's a bit of lag.

Is it realtime? That would be tough for an ordinary forum to pull off.
