View Full Version : Ouija Boards? Good or Bad??
DanceAndExplode 07-20-07, 07:05 AM What do you guys think about ouija boards?
I've heard people say they can open up gateways for evil spirits or something like that.. I personally havn't ever used one, and i'm not sure i want to risk it if that is true, but at the same time i am really curious.
Has anyone ever used one, and if so what happened? I believe in spirits, yet i think ouiji boards are most probably a bunch of crap.
So do you reckon it opens up gateways for evil spirits or do you think it's safe and for real?
evil spirits...portals...
riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
Orleander 07-20-07, 07:26 AM current boards are made by Parker Brothers, a toy company, same people who make Monopoly. Its a piece of cardboard with a lettered/numbered piece of paper on it, made by the thousands in a factory.
I think its perfectly safe since no 'evil spirits' (or any spirits for that matter) exist. So its both safe and a piece of crap :p
imo
GhostofMaxwell. 07-20-07, 07:42 AM If your going to get freaked out from a ouija board you must be on a single fare to psychosis anyway.

The ouija board itself is relatively harmless. However, this is not the case when one is used simultaneously while playing a Black Sabbath song backwards. If this is the case, it will most certainly summon evil spirits

Monopoly is far more evil.

not because they are evil but this church was burnt donw because some high school kids decided that they would play with a board at this church to try and raise devils and evil spirits, i lost 3 of my family friends in that fire
Nikelodeon 07-20-07, 08:38 AM Ouija boards give off flames?
lucifers angel 07-20-07, 08:40 AM Ouija boards give off flames?
no of course not, but they were just there with candles and they got scared because "somthing" apprently happened, and causing the church to be burnt down

Neither. Unless someone actually believes they do something (similar to the nonsense of astrology, card readings, etc.) in which case they are bad.

Female, why have you not made this a poll?
Captain Kremmen 07-20-07, 12:18 PM I've just asked the question on an ouija board, and the glass spelt out good.
Fun.
Nonsense.
Scare the shit out of some people.
Vaguely intriguing.

It makes the already idiotic and gullible Ouija board player stupider. Gateways to evil spirits, though? No.
alien turtle 07-20-07, 07:06 PM My grandmother had one, Ouija board . My Aunt and her used it once and try to put it up but it started moving on its own.
Grandma said "stop it."
The board said "No"
She told my Aunt to throw it away.
It spell out the world "Kill You"
My grand mother throw it in the trash can.
On there way to the store that evening they were hit by a truck.
My Aunt said no one was terribly hurt but scared Grandmother so bad she went home took the board out of the trash and place it way back in the closet. Told everyone never touch it again.
GhostofMaxwell. 07-20-07, 07:13 PM A Big Tip Would Be To Only Claim The Marker Moves On It's Own When No One Is Touching It. And Dont Give The Old Garbage About Needing To Channel Spirit Energies And Crap Through The Bodies Several People, Because That Never Stops Mediums Pretending To Levitate Objects.

I think your Grandmother was very pragmatic, and she found a good solution.
It may have been that nothing would have happened if she left the board in the bin, but why take a chance?

Yes, people can always find an isolated incident or two like that to "prove" a connection between the board and something bad that happened.
Here's some things to give serious consideration to:
The accident was caused by a person. Perhaps the driver of the truck was inattentive, or was driving too fast or had faulty brakes. Also, the driver of the car could have been distracted or used poor judgment and pulled out in front of the truck. Board or no board - if whoever was at fault acted in a irresponsible manner (which they clearly did) the accident was waiting to happen anyway.
Also think about this: people are struck by vehicles [every single day and I would guess that 70% or more of them have never even touched a Ouija board. :D
Silly superstitions like that are EXACTLY how the things like dangerous black cats and Friday the 13th got started.
And here's one more super-good one for you. ;) If we had access to the full statistics and details of all the accidents involved male drivers, we'd probably find that a HUGE number of them shaved and/or ate breakfast on the morning of their accident. And with women, most of them probably applied makeup. And there will be FAR MANY MORE of those accidents than those involving people with board.
So the conclusion (by YOUR logic) is inescapable!!!!!! We've just proven beyond ALL doubt that shaving, eating breakfast or applying makeup puts you under a curse to have an accident! Right? LOL!!!!!

A-friggin-men!
Goddamn that game takes forever. Several neices/nephews and I played for like a million hours and FUCK if that kid took me for everything I had. I swear by the infalibility of buying the "yellow" and "gree" properties (corner ownership is always good). Boarwalk and Park Place are shit.
Oh... yeah... Ouija... yeah... demons.... spirits... "light as a feather, stiff as a board", uh-huh... sure.

HA! Me, too! :D
You don't need a ouija board to contact evil realms or spirits. Evil is all around you or right under your nose or surface, maybe happening next door or in your house. There is evil in this universe, in people etc. The ones who don't realize it haven't been directly exploited or attacked yet to open thier eyes to the fact and it ain't pretty.
SoLiDUS 07-21-07, 04:53 AM It's a fact of Life. Deal with it... ;)

No, really? I'm sure no one knew this.
Captain Kremmen 07-21-07, 12:22 PM I've just asked my ouija board again, and now the glass has spelt out BAD.

Uh huh, and I'm guessing by your name that meat eaters are the most evil of them all? http://forums.offtopic.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif
