    I'm Opera user myself.

There is a plenty of additions available on the web, including spellchecker:

    GNU Aspell

You have to install it separately. I never tried it, to be honest.

Regarding FireFox, version 2.0 has integrated spellchecker, while it is broken in previous versions.

I found some links with spellchecker for 1.5 here:

    And how it works?

Perhaps on the same principle as spellchecker in Word or other programs, features,...

There is integrated dictionary with certain amount of recognizable words. If you enter word that isn't in the dictionary, you'll get red underline with replacement suggestions and option "Add to Dictionary".

Not all words are in dictionary, so you'll have to enter manually some terms that you use in your conversation often and that are not placed in dictionary.

    Not so complicated.

If you highlight a word or phrase then right click on it there's a bunch of other handy options too, like search, dictionary, thesaurus, translate and so on.

The add-on for Opera i did'nt know about but not as good as FireFox.

    Good to know too.

There is Safari for Windows, which i think is new. No spellchecker there either, looks like.

Found a bug with RSS in Safari, at least it looks that way.
