As you may know from my other posts in this subforum, I use windows Vista.

Well, my brother recently got Oblivion, and I wanted to know how to take screenshots.
I did the whole Tweaking the ini. file to allow the screenshots, and read:bAllowScreenShot=1 - If set to 1, allows you to take a screenshot at any time by pressing the PRINT SCREEN key. Screenshots will be in BMP format and stored in your \Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion directory. Alternatively, you can use Fraps, which is my preference.

but apparently that's only for Windows XP.
My brother and I have taken quite a few screenshots, and would really like to show them to eachother!

If anyone can help, they would be rewarded with ONE FREE INTERNET!!!!!!

Is Vista really that bad?

I've not tried running Oblivion on my Vista. Have you tried running the game in XP compatibility mode with the ini tweak?

In Vista, what does it do specifically, that leads you to believe it doesn't work?

I just look in the place that Tweakguides.com said it would be in and the location doesn't even exist.

Just do a search of your hard drive for Oblivion.ini

Just hit 'print screen', then open Gimp, choose 'File>acquire>paste as new'.

Or paste it into Microsoft's Paint.
