Today's Chicago Sun-Times reports on the questionable donations Obama took. Notice most of the donations on the list are from muslims and Arabs.

Not a muslim? No connection to muslims? Yeah, right. :(

She's one of our best sources on muslim issues. The story was reported in the Chicago Sun-Times, a VERY liberal paper.

Thats like getting your news from Alan Jones (who incited the cronalla race riots), Or was that John Laws?

Try getting your news from an IMPARTIAL sorce, like the ABC:D

neither of the chicago news papers are liberal. if you think either of them are liberal your so far to the right that your views should be ignored on principle just as if you that far to the left. people that far of center are whats fucking up the country

You can start a new thread but I'll still be here asking you the same questions. Also your seeming fear to answer them is an obvious psychological slip. You know that your arguments will not stand up and instead of even trying you just slip away from what's confronting you.

This is very positive news. If the Muslims like him, do you realize what an asset that would be?

I agree. Tolerance and understanding are VERY valuable assests in a political leader. Thats one of the reasons i like Rudd so much, he used to be the abasidor to China which is the most important country as far as Australia is concerned. In the US case the Middle East would be the most important and someone that the ME could work with and who understands them is a Brillant leader for the US at the moment

i am still trying to figure out when either of chicago's news papers became liberal. my grandparents get them living right across the WI-IL border and i have read both the chicago sun times and the chicago tribune and both are very conservative

I agree, again, with Asguard. A person with good relations with the middle east would be useful however I still don't support Obama because I view him (and everyother democrat and rebulican) as corporate bitch who is chained to the corporate machine.

Of course the muslims like/support him. But these particular muslims are not very nice ones.

The ones we have to make peace with in Palestine aren't very nice, either.

But they're not running for the office of the president of the United States of America.

But peace in the Middle East would be nice, wouldn't it? Who is supposed to broker that kind of peace? Who would have the most credibility? Who might even go so far as to share a bit of their culture? This is not a bad thing, we have been far to xenophobic as a nation.

He's been hiding who he is since he ran for Senate. He was calling himself "Barry". Once we discovered his middle name, we made the connection. We're at war with evil muslim terrorists in case you may have forgotten.

Of course peace would be nice. How do you suggest we get the muslims to stop killing innocent people?

Solving the Israel/Palestinian issue would go a long way. Getting out of Iraq would help, we can still keep some special forces there to take care of the terr'sts.

Of course its stupid. It saddens me to think that there are still people out there who judge others based on something as stupid as a middle name. If you would neglect to see the qaulity of a person because they have a middle name that you dont like what does that say about you? That kind of thinking is what makes America look bad.
