Yes, the Democrats keep telling the Republicans who to run and what their policies should be, yes Democratic bipartisanship, the liberal Way or the Highway, but the American People told the Democrats to pound sand last Tuesday.

The Democrats spent the last 8 years playing as fiscal responsible liberals, bemoaning the spending of the Republicans, helped along by the Republican trying to be Democrat Lite, and out Democrat the Democrats with social spending and government growth.

That is why the Democrats won the House and Senate in 2006 and the Presidency in 2008, but like the leopard, the Democrats can't change their spots, they are Tax and Spend, Big Government solves all Liberals, and when given power returned to their massive government spending ways, and bipartisanship be dammed.

Instead of concentrating on smaller government, returning more power to the people, private sector job growth, and the nations security, the Democrats did what?

    Cut the Republican completely out of the picture and went with Obama Care, big government spending in the trillions, bought by back room deals, and out right bribery, (The Louisiana Purchase, and the Cornhusker Buy Out) and the People responded, and That is what we have seen in evidenced by Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, He has failed to deliver on His campaign promises;

Broken Campaign Promise - No Earmarks (Pork-Barreling) in the Budget or any bills

Broken Campaign Promise -No Lobbyist in the White House

Broken Campaign Promise - That there will be 5 days for the public to read any legislation.

Broken Campaign Promise - Transparency that all negotiations will be open to the public.

Broken Campaign Promises along with dozens more.

Obama has now had a year, along with Pelosi and Reed to deliver on their promises, and what have they delivered?

Massive Deficits as to the Fourth Generation.

Raised the National Debt Limit into oblivion.

    Rising Unemployment.

Wall Street Bail outs at the Expense of Main Street.

Cronyism, lobbyist in the White House in the Presidents Cabinet.

Czars with out end, with out any accountability.

Pork Barrel spending on a scale never seen before.

And even less transparence in the Government processes.

Yes, Obama, a cheep Nobel Prize, and political melt down for the liberals, and economic disaster.
    for the nation.

Too bad, Republicans have no idea how to reindustrialize this country! This ship is going down for sure with or without Republicans. And they will go down with it too. How do you like them apples....

It's called tax cuts, and using the bail out money on Main Street, not Wall Street.

I see you guys are happy with doubling the national debt and running the economy into the ground the Republicans gave us these last 8 years and you want to do it again. Well good luck.

As part of the new deficit reduction plan, I think all federal pensions should be immediately eliminated until such time that the government is able to aford them.

    Please elaborate

As to Tax cuts, we are already running a $800 Billion deficit from what we would have had based on the tax revenue projections since 1960. Are you saying to get rid of the Military and $75 Billion per year Intelligence Community along with the DHS?

Show us your budget for 2010

Also show us where you want to spend the bailout money...details and where that money will come from?

I think Buffalo is way overreaching here. One candidate beat a Democrat, and they think that means Obama is a failure. The problem with Democrats is that they are trying to be Republican lite. They were handed an economic disaster, and they prevented it from becoming a total collapse, all because Republicans failed to stand up to the gamblers on Wall Street.

(The whole complaint about czars is beyond stupid).

We got some of the lowest taxes in the free world, can't cut it anymore unless you want to remove essential services, though I do like the idea of cutting down that $500,000,000,000+ military. Put it another way out taxes were far higher during the 50's and 60's and we were not doing bad then, so taxes and economic stability are not correlated.

I agree that it may be high, but our military is an essential part of our country. Cutting it all or even to a low number could put America at risk.

Yes, the Democrats have more than tripled the debt, and are running the country into the ground at warp speed.

Under the Democrats the U.S. Deficit for 2009 Totals $1.4 Trillion, the biggest deficit since 1945, that deficit amounted to 9.9 percent of the nation’s economy, triple the size of the shortfall for 2008, and those numbers are from the CBO.

Yes, the Democrats are so fiscally responsible, that they have had to raise the debt ceiling, and the American public is paying them back for that, Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, yes, Massachusetts, the Kennedy legacy, gone to the Republicans.

Unemployment is rising in 43 states, the economy shed a net total of 85,000 jobs in December, wiping out the 4,000 jobs gained in November, California lost 38,800 jobs, the most of any state, and has a unemployment rate of 12.6%, 600,000 people left the labor force in December, according to government data, meaning that unemployment is a lot worse than the Democrats want us to know.
So as I said before, the leopard didn't change one spot, it is still a tax and spend massive deficit creating democratic machine, which bailed out Wall Street, and screwed Main Street, in fact the Democrats are we are doing so good that the House needed to raise the debt ceiling.

Actually joe, the White House, Congress, and the Government Bureaucracy, should stop taking any pay until they get it right and balance the budget, they are the ones who screwed this up.

Yes, Reality and the Democrat, not even on the same page.

    Arianna Huffington: Sunday Roundup

John F. Kennedy came into office wanting to be a transformational president, but he started with three false assumptions: He was convinced the Third World was about to go Communist, that the Soviets would soon have a nuclear advantage, and that civil rights legislation could wait. When he realized all three were wrong, he was able to course correct. Obama also came into office wanting to be a transformational leader. He was convinced that as long as Wall Street was sound, the rest of the economy would follow; that as long as he surrounded himself with smart old pros like Larry Summers, he was in good hands; and that bipartisanship was a worthwhile goal unto itself. He was wrong about all three. His response after the Massachusetts defeat shows that he is capable of learning on the job. If he follows through, he still has time to be a transformational president and turn the country around.

You really think a born loser can make it to POTUS? That's an interesting definition of born loser.

You know full well there is not one thing in your diatribe that is true. You know that george II and his merry band of Republicans doubled the national debt during their control of the US government. You also know that Republicans under george II have been responsible for the largest expansion of social programs/entitlements since FDR.

You also know or should know that george II and his merry band of Republicans drove the economy to the very brink of another great depression. You know that the job losses started in 2007 and cummulated in March of 2009 with more than 700k of job losses per month.

You also know that the Democrats have reduced montly job losses from 700k to the lowest levels seen since 2007. You also know that the Democrats avoided Great Depression II by keeping markets liquid....spending money...which is the classical solution to this kind of crisis. And it worked.

The actions of the Republican Party speak louder than their words. You also know the lions share of the 2009 deficit was the result of financial commitments made by the george II and his merry band of Republicans.

So if Americans want economic decimation, go for it. The Republicans have given it to us. And I am sure they are more than willing to give us more of it if we are stupid enough to allow them that power. And if we allow Republicans that power again, we collectively will deserve everything they give us...Great Depression II.

Frankly Buffalo Roam, I am just fed up with this kind of nonsense and lies from your side of the fence. You want to finish what you guys started and finish off the country, go for it. But don't come crying to me when you are trying to complain about your communist Chinese masters.

I think Buffalo Roam knows they are lies. Unfortunately many others who follow the Republican Party and the Tea Baggers do not know they are lies. Many of them do not even know the positions their leaders have taken on various issues.

Thanks for the link. I am sure there are many many more like it out there.
