    Okay people, look, Iraq is a little itty bitty threat. The bigger threat however, is North Korea.

    First of all, NK has a Nuclear plant up and running. Second of all, they just launched a missle at Japan and it fell into the ocean... This sounds like a very dangerous situation to me... More so then Iraq.

    Can anybody find the article about the missle launched today? I would appreciate it.

    China has us covered. If ever our "most favored nation" owed a favor, now's payday- they can easily cast an ominous shadow over Kim's dog-and-pony show. The NK "crisis" is a pathetic sham, a product of our Chicken-Little media, and Goering-Goebbels-inspired alarmist Whitehouse. The best thing for the US to do is quietly allow Asia to handle this: The Busheviks have little more savoir-faire than Kim does when it comes to avoiding dangerous escalations.

    SKs know that US will only endanger them. This crisis is all about Asia, and USA must shut up and step back. I expect most every Asian country is quietly saying this to the Busheviks. They can see Bushevik "statesmanship" at work in the Middle East, and they want none of it. If Bush won't risten to leason, some will be happy to kill round eyes again.

    That's what Bush has been asking the Asians (China, SK) and Russia to do, but they keep insisting it needs to be a US/NK one on one. So much for Asia wanting the US to stay out of it.

    Even during the Clinton era, NK kept complaining that US wasn’t fulfilling their part of the deal. Let us be clear about the fact that the NK issue is STRICTLY about the ’92 bilateral agreement between NK & US under the auspicious of the UN. NK eventually got tired of US foreign policy and the bully shit of Bush and realized that they must go on their own.

    US want the Asian neighbors to get involved for three main reasons;
    1 To force a revised agreement in which Asian neighbors will have shared some of the financial burden, not just the US.
    2. Capitalize on Improved diplomatic relations over China favoring Japan & the US.
    3. Place pressure in SK to continue US on-site support regardless of population resentments.
