I know this sounds noobish, but i dont know jack about this

How do cd's (compact discs) reflect defrent voice sounds, notes, and overall same notes sounding different, from different people (like male and female)


Please help me

sounds arent stored as notes and such(some formats of digital music do this to save space) but as different frequencies of sound waves. these are then translated to binary and written as a sequence of 0s and 1s. when you put the cd into a player, it decodes these 1s and os again, and sends a signal equivalent to the wavelength and volume of the sound out to the speaker. the speaker then converts it back to sound
