Why are there people considered noble or members of the noble class? What makes them noble?

Define 'noble'. Give an example of 'the noble class'.

like members of the royalty. why are they looked upon as noble?

Its because of what your ancestors did. Some bloke managed to kill enough people and was a natural born leader. And for some reason our ancestors were quite fond of passing things down, father to son etc, so when this has gone on long enough, your considered of noble birth. IN real life, all you need to do to become noble is make loads of dosh, or render support to a king, who then deams you to be of noble blood, and elevates you to the peerage, where upon you become a noble.

Power and money, and lots of it.

Its also a state of mind, independent of physical stuff like money and land etc. Even if you are a noble, you are not necessarily noble.

There's no such thing as 'noble blood', only noble birth or bestowed nobility.

Noble Blood...to be part of the blood chain of nobilty I guess i.e. Royalty, Lord/ettes, Dukes and all that other shiz.

My grandfather was the illigitamate son of a Lord, that kinda makes me have noble blood. Uninteresting, eh?
