Greetings...
Anyone have any problems with a NoCD patch for Chessmaster 9000? I've done everything correctly and all Chessmaster 9000 does now is take up 99% CPU and hang there trying to launch, totally frrezing my laptop.

maybe because NoCD patches aren't made by the company developing the game....

Nope.. that wasn't it. My mistake.... I copied to the wrong directory.

BTW: no CD patches are legal for distribution due to the legal right of the purchaser to maintain at least one backup copy of said purchased software.
(In Canada at least...)
