Nine die in violent cartoon clash in Libya

At least nine people are dead and several injured in violent clashes outside the Italian consulate in Libya over the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, according to an Italian diplomat.

Mohammed Yousaf Qureshi, prayer leader at the historic Mohabat Khan mosque in Peshawar, announced he would give a 1.5 million rupee ($25,000 US) reward and a car for killing the cartoonist of the prophet pictures that appeared first in a Danish newspaper, AP reported.

"This is an unanimous decision of by all imams of Islam that whoever insults the prophet deserves to be killed and whoever will take this insulting man to his end, will get this prize," Qureshi was quoted as saying by AP.

I know I post on here too much - for Brian tells me so, and why would he be mistaken? - but this about the article galls me:

"Don't play with our religion," read a placard held up by a protester. "No double standards. We want justice!" read another.

And just how many times has this guy listened to his imam screaming about the "evil ways of the idolater polytheists" (Christians; hell, secularists too) and "filthy Jews" in the mosque each Friday.

"Can dish it out but can't take it" appears to be the watchphrase for islam.

That is 9 people who have been protesting these cartoons , like the 8 who have been shot dead in Afghanistan because they also were protesting the cartoons . And as of to date no non-moslem , no Dane and no Westerner due to Moslem anger has been murdered because of the publication of these cartoons . And as of to date my prediction stands no one has been murdered , remember your boasts ?

So whose heads have rolled ? Just those Moslems who have taken offense.

Who have these Islamic rioters lynched so far ? No one !

What I find hilarious is that the rioters are burning american flags, and defacing Kentucky Fried Chicken's...while the cartoons were from Denmark. Why they no be pissed at the danes? Why they no burn danish flags, or deface Cobenhagen Boiled Trout?

The muslim mentality is have american flag, have petrol, were is the demonstration being held, rent a muslim mob, these guys would be billionaires if they went legitamate, advertise in the yellow pages, if you want american businesses attacked, there flags burned, european embassies attacked, call muslim rent a mob available worldwide 24hrs of the day..


This is nothing to do with cartoons anymore, and everthing to do with there hatred of other religons, in every muslim country in the world minority religons are under attack in one way or a other.

Calderoli resigned .......... another job victim of the cartoons .....
He wore a t-shirt with one of the cartoons .... the reason for the demonstrations in Libya ....

Of course they do , it means they have died because of these cartoons . And still these are protests which have not led to 1 murder of one non-moslem . Not only have these cartoons insulted moslems it has also killed 20 .

If nothing else this has been a disaster for the muslim world, how on earth can they get western business men to invest in there countries when they are forever blindly attacking any western business in there country, a norwegian phone company in pakistan, kfc, these are not danish businesses, i remember in pakistan a year or so ago they attacked the coca cola or pepsi warehouse there, these people are so stupid its unreal, unemployment is rife in there countries, yet they spend there entire lives attacking the few places what offer employment.

What do they all want to be unemployed all there life, with the only hope for emploment being as a suicide bomber for bin laden, well at least bin laden will give the family left behind 10 or 15 thousand dollars, is that all there life is worth, to be cannon fodder, for this evil sack of shit.

Sorry I was taken away somewhere else I meant a deliberate attempt to turn these killings around on its head and portray them as offended moslems killing in relation to these cartoons . When in fact the killings so far have been of individuals who have been offended by these cartoons . Not of indiscriminate murders of Westerners who the angry lynch mob have taken there revenge on .

Well then you will have no problems in providing a current newsource which clearly says just that, to back your claim , that he was murdered because he was a Christian because the perpertrator was incensed at the anti-muslim cartoons .
