On several websites, and even on a t-shirt, I have seen this quote attributed to Nietzsche:

Fundamental principle of justice: Do not make equal what is unequal!

Does anyone know if this is a legitimate quote? And if so, might you provide the writing from whence it came? For I have searched for the source material (Thus Spake Zarathustra, Beyond Good and Evil, the Anti-Christ...) and found nothing. Moreover, half the sources which list it as a quote are from white power/nationalist websites, and therefore are of dubious value.

Twilight of the Idols.

Skirmishes of an Untimely Man.

48. Progress in my sense.

"The doctrine of equality! There is no more poisonous poison anywhere: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, whereas it really is the termination of justice. "Equal to the equal, unequal to the unequal"--that would be the true slogan of justice; and also its corollary: "Never make equal what is unequal." "

I believe that's the Kaufmann translation.
