    Nice shots...
    questions for the astronomers... how do you filter out everything between us and these shots? is it just luck that nothing of is blocking our view?

    Hehe, space is mostly empty.
    There is very few things in the way!.

    There are a few hydrogen atoms (etc.) though, and it is a simple matter to isolate the characteristic spectrum, ( it really only absorbs certain frequencies).
