Hello there I'm new to this forum. I heard it was a good place to be to disucuss all the sciency things I love. I've also heard it is a bit fascist in the way it is maintained by moederators/admin but I'm not suprised by their tolerance looking at the ban list :eek: , after all they are banned for a reason right?

Anyway its nice to meet you all and I hope I enjoy my stay here.

Fascist? Nah. They're not that strict... more of an oligarchy than an autocracy.

A large number of the bans are to deal with advertisement bots, however there is the occasional breakdown in a members behaviour where they create other accounts to agree with their arguments, argue against their arguments or just to otherwise antagonise others anonymously. They aren't tolerated here and is the reason they wind up banned.

However please don't allow the ban list to make you think that Moderators or Administrators are fascist (popular to misconception), Enjoy your time here and make sure you learn how to use the ignore function if you ever feel upset at another poster, otherwise we end up with an even larger ban list.

The only fascist here is - me.
