Since we have pseudoscience, we should have a seperate pseudopolitics forum as well. Anything that is some type of conspiracy theory or from people's imagination, like every fricken post by M0rl0ck should go there. We can then have a better discussion about politics and things that are more news worthy.
Yeah, then you could have a place to post all your comments where you pretend Bush is a good President.
News forum. Or a news forum so you can put all of Adams news posts in. He posts alot of news articals that dont really belong in the politics forum in my opinion.
I definitely second that vote. Wait no I don't how about we just have a thread that says, go to these news sites to read news, if you actually have something of substance to add to the news than add it. But assume that everyone on sciforums is intelligent enough to read the damn news for themselves.... Adam should become a news anchor...

Since we have pseudoscience, we should have a seperate pseudopolitics forum as well. Do we really need more boards dedicated to anti-science related topics ? Do we really need to attract more conspiracy theorists, crackpots, cranks and general all-around nutters to this forum ? That demographic is already attracted here by the two existing pseudo-boards. As a result, their theories spill over to the science forums simply because they believe their theories to be science related. And of course, they are not apt to reason. Getting rid of the existing pseudo-boards should decrease the number of nutters posting here, hence limiting the number of crackpot/crank/conspiracy threads. Would not that be a more acceptable solution ?
I don't think so. If you get rid of pseudoboards they just post on main boards. They are always gonna be around. The state of this forum is really shitty. Some people believe all problems are created by Bush, and if Bush leaves office all problems will be solved. Some people appearantly think the republican party should be abolished. We should just have a one party system. Some people here have nothing better to say except to call other people idiots. I am outnumbered by conspiracy theoriests. I guess all these crackpot threads are true and newsworthy.

I don't think so. If you get rid of pseudoboards they just post on main boards. They are always gonna be around. Temporarily perhaps. But in the long run, once inundated with logic and reasoning, they will eventually disappear. Other boards that do not boast pseudo-boards have very few cranks/crackpots/nutters. The few that visit are quickly dealt with a dose of reality, their theories are rationalized and if they persist, are simply ignored. The state of this forum is really shitty. What did you expect ? The first thing they do is look for forums with pseudo-boards. Birds of a feather, so to speak. Once they've found a place to roost they highjack the other boards.
