I want to hear your suggestions for one, here are a few of my own:

1. We get to see the federation training it's people, therefore it'll take place on space stations and not starships, except in the special eps.

2. A series based on 1 member of the federation that defected to another world, perhaps Romulas.

3. A story about how one of the Borg became rulers of the galaxy. For example we'd see how it all began.

4. A story about how the Q's came into being

5. A story about the death of the universe and the attempts of many federations of planets to overcome it.

6. We follow a womens team sent to infiltrate Romulas and steal their cloaking tech, etc. only to find later one is a Romulan already.

7. We follow the federations movements from those not involved, the citizens of the federation.... hell that's a good name "Citizens of the Federation" on tonite!

There won't be one... at least for foreseeable future.

I, personally, would like to see a total Kirk/Spok reboot. Updated with our current perspective on technology (genetic engineering, nano-technology, etcetera). Something darker. That's me and most classic Trekkies would get a palsy over such a prospect.

NO MORE TREK,PLEASE!

I'm Trekked out already, 50 years of Trek this movie, repeats of every series, I'm all Trekked out! Shouldn't you understand that the last 3 movies were FAILURES at the box office because people are not interested in watching this dead horse be beaten any longer.

:truce:

:soapbox:

Technically they failed in the box office because they just don't appeal to the general public anymore. I'm sure Stargate has a huge sci-fi following, but if they put a Stargate movie on the big screen, I doubt many regular people would bother to watch it.

So there's nothing wrong with another Star Trek TV show on say the SciFi channel, as long as it's something fresh.

Farscape or Deep Space 9 would be better ...to me.

My thoughts exactly! Trek was made for the small screen and doesn't have wide enough appeal to attract a mainstream audience.
