Apparently their new song "Free" is being blasted all over the states and I decided to download a few songs off the new album. All I can say is "Butchered". What the hell has happened to them? Anyone For Doomesday was so much better than this...this...I don't even know what it is :(

I was, I love the band and now they want dedicated fans to spread the news of the new album...I think they've now lost their dedicated fans.

Hmm..i havn't heard the new album but i can't imagine a change of PM5K's style. They were my favorite band for a long time and i thought they'd never lose the whole "rockets and robots" thing.

ANyone for doomsday's release was postponed after september 11th, because the band felt that the whole "Doomsday"Motif was no longer appropriate. they were going to make some changes and release it later. Then the drummer and bassist quit (i think this was probably because of lack of recognition, though i'm not sure. all articles seemed to be aimed at spider or the guitarists), and the album never came out as far as i know. Except online of course, where everything exists. :D

What is their new style like?

I never thought they'd lose that style either. It does sounds semi-okay, it's growing on me. But I'd prefer the old style back.

It kind of sounds like some modern alternative, it sounds very familiar and I just can't put my finger on who they sound like.
