Anyone know any good software for me to edit films off a Mini DV camcorder?

Ulead Visual Studio and MGI Video Suite (or Wave I think it is called). I've gotten these 2 programs as free bundled software when I've bought hardware. They are pretty efficient, though they aren't completely bug free. I believe they'll come at an affordable price for you (unlike professional coporate software that might cost $5,000)

I've also heard of a program called CakeWalk. I think this is for capture of some kind, I believe it if very good for audio.
