Need quick help with a mac

    My friend is trying to get his photography business off the ground. In a few minutes, he's bring me a mac laptop with some pictures on it. I think it's OS X.

    I have little experience with mac os, I need to plug a usb flash drive into the mac, copy the images, and transfer them to my pc...so I can burn them to a dvd. Can a mac read a fat32 formatted flash drive?

    What is the equivalent of windows explorer in mac? Any help would be appreciated.
