I find a select few elements of National Socialism to be appealing, but there are way too many elements of it that simply don't work for me (IE: I don't have a problem with Jews, who happen to be a Nazi's biggest problem).

I believe that it is important for any well-rounded person to be educated and to draw their own conclusions from a source of information.

Nazism is so often associated with prime evil, hate, and prejudice. To some extent this may be true, but the chaff must be seperated from the wheat. National Socialism, like communism, liberalism, and the like, has a number of elements that should be observed and adapted. It is up to the educated person to seperate these advantages from Nazism's shortcomings and misconceptions.

Xelius , You shouldnt make details into a structural problem . The role of the Jews would have been replaceble by any other , its just that a special spin was given to the Jewish question in historical perspective . Im sure a modern nazi-ideology would allow you to hate and demonize any other minority group just as easily .

And besides , they didnt have a porblem with all Jews , they simply adored zionists till '42 . They even had this medal with a swastika/star of david .

And todays there are even alliances between neo-zionists and neo-nazi's , didnt hear of the French alliance to start a demonization campaign together against Arabs & Muslim ?

IMO National Socialism surely can work and is morally justifyable , however it depends on the kind and situation :

You can have to kinds , there can be a created a difference between groups within a nation (ethnic nationalism) and/or the nation as a group .

The first one IMO is only justifyable in a country suffering from post colonial/imperialist rule , that has its heritage (or even actual influence) . The second one IMO is only justifyable if the nation is in a threatning situation , or when there is a socialized globe .

I believe the Germans did have a certain amount of ground that would motivate rightfully a form of ethnic nationalism (that is if we would Jewish history in Germany out of it , buyt merely take the actual situation) , but it would be restricted to coorporate & liquidative elements of society . However we all know how terribly wrong this went and how in the end innocent peoples suffered and got genocided , all because of blind hatred and betrayel .

As usual , I dont really think the essential ideology was the one that failed , but the peoples giving it form and shape and practice . The Jewish question was disgusting , the solution was even worse . And all that led by a psychopath who was driven by artistic hate , pathetic really .
