Last night I've been watching "Transamerican Killer" AKA "Switch Killer", a trash horror movie made in 2005.

Well, movie indeed was a pure trash (even 'Casablanca' on TV was humorously fake).

But, in the 18th minute of the film, i.e. in the pole dancing scene, a brilliant song stroke me.

It begins: "Come, I will wait for you, like a night shade in blooms" (I think)

I recognized in the chorus also: "Silver fire"

It's oriental influenced progressive metal song. And yes, female singer.

Anyway, I tried to find it, but without success. No lyrics, no movie soundtrack (really trash), nothing on the Web...

I will try here. Maybe someone knows name of the band and name of that song.

    I will be really grateful.

A quick google reveals the tracks were performed by a performer called 'RedRum', a search on Amazon reveals CD's but no track listings.

Maybe if the dude updates his web page you'll get more info.

    Thanks.

I already check them and nope. Truth is that they perform most of tracks in the movie, but they sound more like Nickelback.
    Plus their vocal is male.

This song has Tool's "Reflection" and "Merkaba" feeling with pleasant female voice. It raises from percussion moderato to chorus where all participate in slow paced, but energic fusion with a pinch of oriental spice.

Probably not so good, but it's pretty infectious song. I like it.

    Freudian slits?

I know it's not helpful, Plazma, but I had to make a note of the best Freudian slip I've encountered of late:

Or have you just trapped me into noticing? Either way, cool.

(Random note: I'm at the public library. The guy at the next terminal was just looking through pictures of Pam Anderson and Paris Hilton. The two teenagers who replaced him have just wandered off, feeling sketchy about whatever redidue is on the mouse.)

    Thank you masta redarmy11! :worship:

    Your browsing skills are excellent.

It is Rhea's Obssesion's "Nightshade" indeed.

I'm running to download the album.

Yeah, turns out it's "Rhea's Obsession," not "Rhea Obsession." I thought it was going to be a bunch of songs about South American ostriches.

Nice sound. A lot of Middle Eastern harmonics and instrumentation. Like Lacuna Coil spent some time in Algeria. Reminds me of forty years ago when everybody was fooling around with sitars and Indian modalities.
