Had Bush, or the Republican party, still been in office, this would have been grounds for a pre-emptive strike against N. Korea. Thankfully, or not, Bush is long gone; now somewhere in Texas writing a book, so I hear.

But what is to come? Japanese officials said that N. Korea may be planning to launch a missle at Hawaii in two days! Why has this not been all over the news? Why has the American government not evacuated Hawaii? And why have they not attempted to communicate with the North Korean government?

On the bright side, it certainly would help put an end to the methamphetamine epidemic in America.

Lets hope for the sake of SK that NK Dear Leader dies of a heart attack soon and his incompetent spawn buckles under the weight of responsibility and capitulates.

I was about 4 months old when the first Korean War ended...I never thought I'd see another one, but it's looking more like it all the time, with that ascerbic little twit in control there...

There is something that I hoped would eventually be Addressed by the United Nations in regards to Mind Control Technology misuse. One potential misuse is the manipulation of decisions made by any countries leader, like the escalation of threat assessment.

Hypothetically speaking it could be suggested that a Third party could well be pulling the proverbial strings of the North Korean leader without his knowledge. This act could be done to cause him to be deemed a threat and then moved upon by one or other country (Which didn't necessarily use the equipment on him to begin with).

Let's say that hypothetically the US moved on him, while indeed some in the US would back such a move and manipulate events, there is a high possibility that the events being manipulated wouldn't be US controlled (It's possible a conspiracy group, or third party defense contractor could manipulate events for their own gain while putting everyone else at risk). After all the US being forced to move on another country, while still trying to deal with the problems of Terrorism would make them seem even move demonized by certain other countries, it would also cause them to have to stretch their resources even further than they already have.

If I had my way, I would address this point to the leaders of all countries that sometimes their thoughts on external and even internal policies could well be manipulated by a third party, so they shouldn't respond to any event drastically without taking into consideration that there was a conspiracy behind the event at hand which they could unwittingly play a pawn in.

If the USA goes to war with NKorea, and I very much doubt it will come to that, I wonder what form that war would take?
Surely an invasion wouldn't work (it hasn't worked in Iraq) and I can't see the US launching nukes....so my guess is it will be up to Japan and SKorea to do the fighting if it ever happens.
Now we have Iran looking unstable too, strange times indeed.

Perhaps Kim Jong Il really wants to die early in life, it seems he is trying very hard to do so.

correction: they are not launching at Hawaii but over, they are trying to prove they can hit the USA, but if they do actually hit the USA they will be reduced to trinitite, they know this, they aren't stupid and not even crazy, they just like to look crazy so people wil be scared of them and give them stuff.

They will get allot of "stuff" if they do something as stupid as send a missile into Hawaii.

That's just way too over the top, even for a James Bond movie. In fact, there actually was a James Bond North Korea conspiracy movie made not too long ago, and I thought that one was pretty far-fetched, but this one takes the cake.
