Hey everyone it's me the UFO buff. Anyways I was bored so thought I'd put out some health problems I've had an see if anyone can offer up possible, reasonable reasons for why I've experienced them. Let me first say I've been to specialists in each area but nothing really much improved, at least not in the way I'd like. Here's the lowdown..

1. Breathing - Sometimes it feels as if I don't get enough air, however testing was done and they told me my oxygen level was fine. This leads me to conclude I merely feel as though I am not getting enough. I saw an allergist whom prescribed 10MG of Singulair. For awhile it seemed to work, my breathing was easier. Now it's come back, however it may only be due to the seasons I'm not sure.

a. If I bend forward a bit then back an breathe I feel like I get enough breath.

b. If I twist left I feel like I get enough breathe. (I think in general any movement makes it easier)

c. If someone touches me it's easier to breathe (leading me to believe it might be strain or anxiety)

d. It may be that my nasal passages are inflammed, I have a nasal spray but it doesn't really help that much. However if I test I find one passage is usually not taking in air. This leads me to think it may just be my allergies causing the breathing problems.

2. Depression - I experienced Dysthymia from adolescence, it gradually became worse until I was put on Zoloft 100 MG. Before taking antidepressants I experienced trembling (due to anxiety) and intense feelings of worthlessness. I now am better but it makes me wonder what other factors could have caused it other then mental.

3. Urinary Pain - Yes, sometime when I was young I experienced a Urinary Tract Infection. They prescribed antibiotics, it went away. However the symptoms still persisted, although they found no bacteria etc. Later on it worsened into constant pain when urinating, which I eventually nailed down to highly processed foods, things like alcohol, frozen foods, etc. It seems this is known as Interstitial Cystitis. Basically it means they don't know what is wrong but something is, lol

a. Blood was found in my urine, however after examination the Urologist found nothing to be concerned about, it was microscopic btw. The concern I have is how can anyone say it's nothing to be concerned about, isn't it bad :-p

b. Urinary pain only occurs when a dietary irritant is present, like alcohol, or some other food. Thus leading me to believe I may have food allergies I am unaware of.

whew, got all that? I'm only 25! Hahaha.

So let me know what you guys think, it seems these symptoms are related somehow, Singulair treats inflammation, Interstitial Cystitis is inflammation of the bladder wall. Depression can be attributed to the health problems I'd been having, or at least a big part of why I felt so bad. Here's a chart I'd think makes sense, but I cannot see a way of finding a specific cause.

Allergies (breathing trouble, like you aren't getting enough air) + Interstitial Cystitis (burning sensation during urination but only if I ate something that was a dietary irritant) leads to Depression (feeling worthless, helpless, unable to cope)

Medications are also interesting, here is what I take:

Zoloft 100 MG
Singulair 10 MG
Nasonex Spray

If you look at what these do you can see a few commonalities.. first Singulair treats inflammation, IC is basically inflammation caused by dietary irritants. My Breathing problem is basically because of inflammation? :-O Curious huh?

Sooooo.... any thoughts on what's going on here??

Hey, I couldn't read any replys, so sorry if I'm repeating other people here... But... Did you know that 2/3 of your meds are STERIODS?!? Not the cool kind either. They surpress your body's natural response to infection. It is far to overly perscribed and is used to essentially "duct tape" a symptom, not to find, diagnose and treat your underlying disease. Your body could be naturally reacting to fight off an invasion. You could easily have something viral or fungal, and without your bodies immune response, it could be having a field day in your nose and throat.
Also, lungs naturally collapse if one stays in one place too long. Does it feel better after you cough?
As for urinary burning, what color is the urine? Super dark yellow? bloody? When you drink a lot of water along with dietary irritants, does it decrease the burn?
Tell me what you think.
