It would still be a winner today as it was back when I designed it and built it from scratch.

Interesting suspension. What kind of engine is that?

Put a muffler on it, or stay out of my neighborhood. Thanks.

(OK, ok, it's a nice bike. Take it easy on the corners, though - it dives with a twist, right ?)

That is a Honda 750cc bored out to 950cc with a Yoshimira kit in it. That suspension I designed so that I could achieve a hard tail look but a softail ride. It worked just fine but not allot of travel but enough.

Hey Cosmic, you might want to check out www.hondachopper.com.

I used to hang out there when I was looking for advice fixing up my bike.

    Nice job!

I Was wondering if anyone else knew of my old hangout. Nice to know that there were a few out there that did! Yep, they bought my design and made a few bucks on it.

No tats, no gold, no silver. Just normal looking jeans and shirt.

    Well done on the engineering.

How much petrol does that tank hold?

That's a 2.5 gallon tank. If you look at the front end I also designed that. It is what as known as a "girder" type of front end. It has only one shock in the center of the forks and the forks are half inch cold rolled steel, flame cut and triple chrome plated.

Are you on a percentage from Weightwatchers ?

I was thinking of Zen in the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. It's essentially philosoiphical but there is lots about a motorcycle tour in there. I can honestly recommend you buy a copy. It is avalable in paperback and, although some years old, it is still in circulation.
