They are changing Sesame Street's Cookie Monster to have a "healthier diet." It's a sad day for me, as Cookie Monster was the only "cool" character sesame street had. Now he'll be woofing down salad greens, vegetables, "healthy stuff." If anything Cookie Monster was the hero in the Sesame Street batch - always in need of a cookie but always determined to work for it. The way Cookie ate his cookies will never be the same. Nothing will ever crumble as elegantly as a cookie in Cookie Monster's blue hands again.

I know, I am outraged. Damn these modern times. People will see him eating no more cookies and eat healthy, but they still will go to Mc'donalds. So why does it matter if he eats some cookies.

You still have Oscar the Grouch don't you? He eats anything inside of the trash can he lives in so that is a pretty unhealthy way to live, right up your ally! ;)

Cookie Monster was a MONSTER, hence why he could eat cookies all the time. Man, how stupid do they think kids are?
