Unfortunately I never got hold of the PC version, stuffed with the 2D GFX card systems that can barely play the lowest spec games from 8 years ago.

However it does look like you had a lot of fun making the mod by creating "mobs". (Perhaps it shouldn't be "epic bosses", but epic mobs?) In any sense obviously the main concern is with PC related specs, some people will be able to handle extreme mob battles from high end systems while others are going to end up bugging out from the amount of animations being played at any one time.

I'm pretty sure when games like this are developed there is a particular limit (a Bekenstein Bound) which developers attempt to maintain so it doesn't get too cluttered and keeps a particular designated spec ticking over.

I guess you can say your mod "Isn't for the faint hearted, or people with a low spec PC's".

As for attacking bunnies, I can just imagine dumping a whole mob of bunnies down, however some quickly shape shift between bunnies and attacking creatures like wolves and bears and then quickly shape shift back, so you don't know which bunnies are these polymorphing attackers or just standard bunnies running around, so you'd have to go on a mass bunny killing spree in an attempt to stop the attacks. (Thats a quick dirty solution without going through the process of creating new animation sequences, although if you do I suggest mocap, not because it's better at animating attacking bunnies but because it's a funny thought having you jump round in your room pretending to be an attacking bunny. "Let me see your war face!")

The engine actually handles the large numbers pretty well...my machine isn't that great, and didn't bog down at all. There's upper limit of about 20 creatures attacking at once. If there's more than that..they just stand around and wait their turn.

It was really fun to make...and fun to play test. The final battle with Smog the Dragon King was especially fun.

Here's a video of just the approach to his lair:

Cool...I just found another video of my mod:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBMqQr9fC84&feature=related

The short description of the mod is: "8 new epic boss fights guaranteed to make your character sit on a donut-shaped pillow for the next week."

Lol...ok SG...I'll translate to English. There's this game called ElderScrolls:Skyrim that I've been playing. Back in January, they came out with the "Creation Kit" that allows people to make their own content. I created a new mod for the game which included a series of really hard battles, and it has become fairly popular. So I'm proud of it.

Your response should be, "Great job Mac!"

Grats Mac. If I install the mod, will it mess with my existing game? Can I use the same character or do I have to start over?

It won't mess with your game. Just add to data folder, and delete the files if you want to uninstall. It will just add the areas to your map. Just do a full save before the install so you can just revert back to that..if you want to go back to the vanilla game.

This mod is really for characters that have completed most of the game, and have maxed out crafted gear. The fights are crazy hard. If you haven't finished most of the game, I would wait to try the mod.

I can't tell if I have finished most of the game because it never seems to end :3. I did kill the big bad super dragon and my nubcake is up to level 54. Hope that's enough.

Oh..if you're level 54, you could handle it. The boss mobs are level 75 with 3000 or so hit points.

    Ok smartass

It was just posted this morning, and not like the modding community of skyrim is huge. I was just proud my work was noticed by a few people.

The game only ends when you get fed-up with one-shot kills and taking no damage.

And I think level 80 or so is the highest you can get to, as by then you'll have capped out all the skills at 100, which means no more levelling (other than via the console commands).

MacG - your mod looks... interesting.

But it's always good to get your efforts noticed, even if only by a few people.

The one thing that did have me laughing was Big Bunny... now only if it was white, and you provided a weapon called the Holy Hand-Grenade of Antioch!

100 in sneak here, way up there in archery (dry - gulch style), lock - picking and a bit of Daedric gear as well.

    Congrats, Mac.

Mebbe if I get to that place where everything is maxed out and I can 1 - shot everything that comes at me....

I carry 6 mods ATM to help fill in the surround, haven't run out of places to go and things to do yet though.

.....before D3 is released, that is

100 sneak eh? Part one was a hack and slash for heavy and light fighters. I just started on part 2 that will have some mage and thief specific encounters/challanges.

Well, when you get old and slow :itold: it is easier to hide behind the rock and dry - gulch 'em than to stand up in front of them and hack away.

Except stinkin' dragons, that is...they have a way of finding you pretty quickly.

Ok Mr. Sneakypants....you're sneaking butt will be totally challenged by part 2. You will have to use every part of your 100 ability to make it through the challenge. I'm totally creating the mod to challenge full-on thieves like you!
