Law would be another good one. But I also think that Religion should be split down to the free-for-all we have now and one for those who practice religion to debate their own delusion in safety. I the religion forum has been mentioned before. As an agnostic I would still be interested to read a forum like this even if I couldn't post.
A question to be answered would be do we want a whole laundry list of forums that stretch down for miles?

I think the current coverage is good. Thanks to admins for creating a linguistics forum, it fits really nicely into Sciforums.
Historical notes: As I recall, we once had two religion forums, one for "Christianity" and one for religion in general. Something like that. I just have this strange memory of a "Christianity" forum. Of course, I'm stoned right now, so ... yeah. Could be imagining it entirely. Also it's strange to consider expanding the religion forum; in the early days, when there was a news-clipper front page, the religion forum made a certain amount of sense; some archaeology and social-science news (as well as cosmological) tread directly into religious territory. Without the clipper, the religion forum was for a time the main attraction, the premier stage with the greatest diversity of performers. But as the site and attendant community have grown, the forum has become such a breeding ground for controversies that spill into other topics that most often people call for the elimination of the religion discussions; after all, this is Sciforums, and there's not much science about religion. Furthermore, moderators have, despite the constant complaints, been rather lax over time to the point of anarchy. And that last is important to my actual point. The split of the religious forum would be futile. The amount of effort needed to maintain a clear division between the two leaves me humming a Kaiser Chiefs tune ("I Predict a Riot"). I mean, how would we do that? "Extremist Nuts to the one, Mundane Nuts to the other?" Wouldn't be very polite, in the first place, but what will keep the extremists out of the mundane discussions? Yeah. I predict a riot. Would be a good way to cull the herd, though.
