i was debating posting this and where to post it because it fits in health and fitness, here and in ethics but its a book so i will post it here.

I havent read it yet but i do intend to buy it after lisserning to an interview with the author

"Where will I go when I die Mum?"

Tania's eyes filled with tears, and a huge lump lodged itself in her throat.

They're not the words you expect your fifteen old daughter to say to you.

Tania could only tell her dying daughter Kaisha, what she wanted to believe herself - that when we die, we go to this beautiful place, where there is no more pain, colours are more vibrant, the wind blows, but not too strong and not too cool, there are fairies and unicorns, and everyone gets along.

At the age of 13, Kaisha was diagnosed with a very rare form of liver cancer.

Kaisha died in 2005 at the age of 15.

Four years on, Tania has now written a book about how she dealt with the news her daughter was dying, and the struggle she went through to keep her daughter and her family alive.

Two days after Kaisha's 13th birthday she is in Adelaide having a biopsy. Scans have shown a large discoloration on her liver. The news is not good. Kaisha is diagnosed with a tumour, a rare cancer which has not been seen much in children and she is given two weeks. Tania can't believe it…Not her daughter "I thought only old people get cancer".
